These terms apply to your use of the Noora website, operated by ITGenerations Inc. (“we”, “us”). By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What Noora is
Noora is a family home for a group of Muslim channels: stories, Quran and Arabic learning, everyday character, bedtime and calm listening, and Islamic history. The website introduces these channels and links to them. Videos and audio are hosted on third-party platforms such as YouTube.
Using the site
You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don’t misuse it: don’t try to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site, copy it in bulk, or use it for anything unlawful.
Our content
The Noora name and logo, the channel names, characters, artwork, text and other content on this site are owned by or licensed to ITGenerations Inc. You may share links to our pages and videos, but you may not copy, modify or redistribute our content or use our names and characters without our written permission.
Faith and educational content
Our content is made for general learning, reflection and family conversation. It is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified scholar or teacher on religious rulings or personal questions. Stories and adventures are works of fiction unless clearly presented as history or as religious teaching.
Third-party services
The site links to and embeds services we don’t control, including YouTube, Facebook, Substack and AlQuranClasses. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
Children
Many Noora channels are made for children. We encourage parents and caregivers to choose content with their children and to watch together where they can. See our Children’s Privacy page.
No warranty
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, ITGenerations Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or of third-party services linked from it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
